A work in progress, this was a garage not long ago. I put laminate flooring, on an acoustical foam underlayment, over 6 mil plastic, over concrete.
This is the wall on which the plasma will hang. I'm pretty much set on the Panasonic TH-50PX600U (or maybe the 58!). I ran an outlet and cable just above center of the wall, a wi-fi expander is currently plugged in (the silver box). To the left was a storage space that will one day be a bar:))) The cabinet to the right hides the water heater. The door is to the house.
The box on the floor by the wall holds the crown molding which will be hung where the paint changes colors. Then I'm going to put rope lighting inside the molding, for mood lighting.
Moving clockwise from the first pic. The door leads to the back deck. The artwork is all Sherwin Williams latex on canvas, all Heyse/Beyer originals, lol.
The door leads to the in-law suite, room, whatever. Where the current fashionable, yet understated plastic chair sits will have a Texas hold em' table in it's place. After the HT of course! It's 23 feet from this wall to the front wall, so I think I can squeeze it in, we'll see.
And lastlty, the drapes, which cover a french door in the middle and a 5'0 x3'0 window on each side. My wife bought the material on ebay and made them(gotta give her props, she's gonna see this!) The string for the attic will remain as a shabby chic piece.
